Matt Peery has come to East Lynne Baptist Church after serving four years as the pastor of Turners Station Baptist Church in Kentucky. He is originally from the Lone Jack-Lee's Summit area with strong family Missouri roots.

He is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in Christian Ministry. He is also a graduate of Calvary Bible College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advanced Biblical Studies. He preaches for the glory of God, prays for revival within individuals, families, our community, the church and our nation.

Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Laura, their daughter Moriah, sons Caleb and David and their dog Tucker. He can often be found reading, studying and enjoying the outdoors.
